At Recco Home Care Service, we know that there is no place like home to get the care you or your loved one needs and deserves.  Our mission is to enable our clients to remain in their own homes which allow for the highest level of comfort and independence.  We take the time to educate you and your family members and work together to facilitate the best possible environment for their care.

 

TRADITIONAL CARE:

Keeping every client in their home is our main objective as this promotes independence and improves the overall quality of care. Clients usually receive care for months or years which often leads to a long-standing relationship between the patient and caregiver. We carefully pair our caregivers to match the individuals and their family dynamic. The bonds that are created can be so heartfelt, many of our caregivers become part of the family.

CDPAP:

As an alternative to Traditional Home Care Services, the CDPAP program is a perfect fit for either those that are self-directing (or have someone who can oversee their care) and prefer to hire someone they know to care for them.  

 

All of our Consumers and Personal Assistants are fully orientated to the program by our staff. Our staff acts as the liaison between the Department of Social Services/Managed Health Care Plan, Consumer/Designated Representative, and the Personal Assistants.

 

Recco has over 25 years of experience as a Fiscal Intermediary of this unique program in New York State. We were one of the first licensed agencies to be awarded the program in Suffolk County when it began in 1999.
